Ajith’s Asal To Release In Russia

Ajith’s Asal To Release In Russia

Ajith's forthcoming movie is in limelight even before it has been released. In the latest agreement signed between the Indo-Russian Chanber of Commerce and Industries and Russian Union of Cinematography, South Indian films will be dubbed in Russian and be screened in Russia.
Asal will be the first film that will be released simultaneously in Russia. Ajith and the entire team of Asal are truly optimistic and excited about it. This agreement is aimed at bringing together the atists from both the countries and encourages mutual understanding of each other's culture.
Ajith is now busy shooting for Asal, directed by Saran, in Malaysia. Expectations are running high as Saran's Modhi Vilayadu has been well-received by audiences.
Some other films that are in the queue for being dubbed and screend in Russia include Kamal Haasan's Anbe Sivam, Dasavathaaram and Rajinikanth's Chandramukhi and Sivaji.

Bhavan in ASAL

BhavanaActress Bhavana, who has been out of work for quite some time, has been signed up by director Saran for a significant role in his upcoming film 'Asal'. The crew is presently shooting non-stop in Malaysia from where Bhavana flew back to Chennai briefly (for a couple of days) mainly due to her 'homesick' syndrome.

Talks have been gathering steam in Kollywood that Bhavana is only the 'second heroine' in the film and that Sameera Reedy, who has only had a solitary Tamil film release in 'Vaaranam Aayiram' last year, is the first heroine as per the script. This has reached Bhavana's ears who is obviously in an irritated mood.

"I have given sixty days of call-sheet to shoot for the film while Sameera Reddy's dates have been sought only for twenty days. The doubt as to who is the 'actual heroine' would be clarified as and when the film releases." says a determined Bhavana. She believes that though her market in Tollywood and Mollywood is reasonably good, she would be making a grand comeback in Tamil with 'Asal' and would have a better second stint.

Chinna Thala To Sing For Asal Thala

Well, the latest Gossip across the town is Little Superstar Simbu crooning for Ajith Kumar’s ‘ASAL’. The actor is so excited about getting this gracious offer. When approached the filmmaker Saran and Music Director Bharadwaj, they said ‘Talks are going on now and nothing has been confirmed till the date’. However inner sources have confirmed that Silambarasan will be rendering his voice for this film, but for sure it isn’t the title song.

Asal - Gallery

The second schedule of Ajith starrer ‘Asal’ is to take place very soon in London. As planned earlier, 30% of the shoot will happen in London, 50% will be shot in Malaysia and 20%will be in Chennai. Starting with the first schedule, the share that was calculated to be shot in Malaysia was wrapped-up recently.

Sources close to the project say that Ajith will be a decently dressed villain in London. “Ajith will be enacting in a scene in which he gives out an interview to America’s Wall Street journal in British English accent,” added the source.

The point is that our “Thala” Ajith is taking full-fledged practice to deliver the talk with the proper British accent!

What else to say - Thala pola varuma?

IndiaGlitz [Wednesday, July 29, 2009]

Shruthi Haasan was originally offered a role in Venkat Prabhu’s 'Saroja'. But the actress opted out of it, and signed on 'Luck' with Imran Khan. The film opened to lukewarm responses last week, and it is now being said that she has been approached for her second film.

This time, again, it is suspected that the actress has been approached by Venkat Prabhu for his next film with Ajith, that being Thala’s 50th film.

Ajith, who is currently in Malaysia, shooting for Saran’s 'Asal', will return this weekend, after which he will move to shoot in London later next month, 'Asal' is a 2009 year end release and Ajith is expected to take on his next project next year. It is now said that Shruthi Haasan has been considered to play his heroine. Will the lanky actress agree?
